Budapest is the capital of Hungary and dubbed the famous city of baths. It is also the country's principal commercial, transportation industrial, political and cultural centre. When the two cities Buda and Pest amalgamated in November 1873 Budapest was born as one. Sitting prettily on either side of the river Danube, Budapest is one of the top luxury destinations worldwide. The Buda castle hill which is made up of monuments, churches and palaces is part of the UNESCO list of world heritage sites. The Gellert Spa is the third best voted thermal bath in the world. The city has come a long way since the Celts first settled within the area in the 1st century BC.
A lifestyle in Budapest is alluring since the cost of living is still reasonably cheap compared to other popular getaway destinations. Despite the fact that income is at a lower rate in Hungary, compared with rent, expenses and the cost of real estate it offers a good alternative sprinkled with rich history for those investors who want something different. There is no doubt that living in Budapest will never have anybody bored; there is simply too much to do.
